Speaking Singlish
Most of the people in Singapore love to speak singlish as singlish is simple. I, as a Singaporean know that Singaporeans simply love taking short cuts and just hate to waste time taking the long and right way. Well, I, myself also speak Singlish too. Maybe because I am too use to it as I started to pick up singlish when I was young. It is hard for all of us to kick a habit as changing our habits is not easy. All of us must try real hard to do it. I think I need to change too, or else the habit will stay with me forever. And maybe all of us should get ready our ten cents coins as they may come in handy when we speak singlish. All of you will have to put this ten cents coin into the 5A piggy bank which is shaped like a baby. Do you know why the piggy bank is shaped like a baby? I think it is shaped like that as we are like 'babies' which do not know how to speak Grammatical English but singlish only. Do not worry as Miss Chia will use these coins to buy our Children Day presents. But, of course, you do not want to waste your ten cents coin just like that, right? So, put a stop to speaking singlish and start speaking the right Grammatical English!!!
