GSTS(Blog Assignment 2)
Every morning, we need to do the GSTS. I think that GSTS is a great idea to teach people that we must greet each other and respect them. I agree with Miss Chia when she mentioned that Singaporeans don’t greet but just walk past each other, assuming that each other is 'invisible'. I feel that Singaporeans are not so friendly and behave rudely. After learning GSTS, greeting people seems easier to me and I feel like a better and friendlier person. If everyone does the GSTS, we can influence people and it will go on and on so that the whole Singapore will be full of nice and warm Singaporeans. Greeting each other is actually very easy , but some people are just plain lazy to learn. By shaking hands with each other and asking "How do you do?" is already greeting each other. See, it is not that difficult, right? I hope all Singaporeans can be nicer to each other. So, get cracking and start learning GSTS!
